Internship Context:
As part of our commitment to continuously improve the quality and testability of our products, we are aiming to optimize our testing system. Currently, unit tests are executed at product startup, and an additional set of tests is run on desktop. We now seek to harmonize and evolve these tests for continuous integration directly on target platforms.
Start Date: 2025
Main Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the development team, the intern will:
1. Integrate a test driver: Adapt and port existing test suites for execution directly on our target platforms.
2. Set up a test platform: Install a dedicated product in our test bay to ensure a reliable and standardized environment for test execution.
3. Integrate the platform into our continuous integration (CI) system: Configure Jenkins infrastructure to launch tests in CI, leveraging results to enhance development reactivity and quality.
This cross-functional mission will enable the intern to gain experience in firmware development on multiple hardware platforms, desktop programming, debugging tools, and continuous integration via Jenkins.
Candidate Profile:
- 4th or 5th year engineering student specializing in software development or embedded systems.
- Initiative, analytical skills, and ability to work independently on technical tasks.
- Teamwork ability and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of NXP or STM32 platforms is a plus but not required.
